About Polycotton, Flannelette & Egyptian Cotton Fitted Sheets

Egyptian cotton fitted sheets are made from long and exceptionally fine cotton yarns that are super absorbent and highly breathable. Egyptian cotton offers softness and luxury, with a silky smooth feel and it actually improves with every wash. Polycotton sheets will not crease anywhere near as much as 100% cotton as they are made up of a blend of cotton and polyester. However, polycotton sheets do not breathe or absorb moisture as well as cotton or Egyptian cotton sheets.
Flannelette fitted sheets provide extra warmth throughout winter due to a superior heavy weight brushed cotton fabric. Soft flannelette is usually made of loosely spun cotton with a napped, fuzzy surface for extra comfort.
