Two main factors to consider when purchasing a duvet are tog rating and filling. 3.0 - 4.5 tog is considered a lightweight or summer duvet, 7.0 - 10.5 tog a spring or autumn duvet while 12.0 - 15 tog is an ideal weight for winter.
Fillings are either natural or synthetic. Natural duvet fillings include duck down, goose down and feather and down. The lightweight option is goose down and we offer quality Hungarian and Siberian goose down duvets at great prices. Synthetic fillings are typically polyester hollowfibre or microfibre - non-allergenic varieties are available.
